negozee partners with Alvva to bring AI-powered immigration support into Latino tax offices
First cohort of 25 negozee members launches in September, giving over 50,000 tax professionals a way to connect clients with help on common USCIS applications.
CAMPBELLLAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Aug. 20, 2026 — negozee, a national community serving Latino tax professionals, accountants, financial advisors and small-business owners, today announced a partnership with Alvva, a Menlo Park–based AI immigration platform that has helped more than 1,000 immigrants file for legal status.
The partnership is built around a reality negozee members see every day: in many immigrant households, the tax professional is the most trusted financial advisor in the family’s life. Clients ask them about starting a business, obtaining an ITIN, building credit, buying a home and managing payroll — and, frequently, about immigration.
Rather than asking tax professionals to become immigration experts, the partnership gives them a specialized resource to point clients toward.
“Our members have built tremendous trust within immigrant communities,” said Tony Martinez, CEO of negozee. “A client may walk into a tax office to file a return, but that relationship often expands into questions about their business, finances, credit, real estate and immigration. This partnership gives our members another way to help those families find the assistance they need.”
Alvva’s bilingual, AI-powered platform guides users through preparing common USCIS applications, including naturalization, family-based Green Cards, DACA and Green Card renewals. Clients upload documents digitally, track progress through an online Case Center and receive an organized package ready for submission to USCIS. Alvva reports a 99.7% approval rate across applications filed through the platform, at roughly one-fifth the cost of working directly with an immigration attorney.
“We’re putting AI technology in the hands of business owners who have spent decades earning the trust of their communities,” said Sergio Torres, co-founder and CEO of Alvva. “Our founding team has been through the U.S. immigration system ourselves. The families who need this most already have someone they trust — their tax preparer. This partnership meets them there.”

The program rolls out in cohorts. Twenty-five negozee members begin in September, with a second cohort opening in October on a limited basis. Participating members access Alvva through a partner dashboard to submit and track client referrals. Members can apply for the October cohort through the negozee platform.
